Charlene Mae Regenstein, age 73 of Ripley, Ohio, died Thursday, June 23, 2016 at the Ohio Valley Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center near Ripley.  She was a server at many local restaurants for many years.  Ms. Regenstein was born July 29, 1942 in Higginsport, Ohio the daughter of the late Carlton Stevenson and Dollie Green Stevenson Carter.  She was also preceded in death by her former husband, friend and father of her children – James Earl Regenstein, Sr.; seven siblings – Junior McKibben, Gene McKibben, Bud Stevenson, Dean Stevenson, Janet Munson, Merry Rigg and Reccie Manley.

Ms. Regenstein is survived by four daughters – Darlene Flannery (Ed), Angie Regenstein, Kim Stauffer (Greg) and Sue Fussnecker (David), all of Ripley, Ohio; one son – James Earl “Dute” Regenstein, Jr. (Pam) of Aberdeen, Ohio; eight grandchildren – Kristin Regenstein, Aaron Flannery, Lauren Flannery, Carlie Higle, Cassidy Higle, Amber Turner (Jerome), Caitlin Spiller (Blake) and Justin Rice (Heather); two great-grandchildren – Adrianna Turner and Blakelin Spiller; two brothers – Charles Ray Stevenson (Anne) of Dayton, Ohio and Bobby McKibben (Sue) of Georgetown, Ohio; one brother-in-law – Charles Munson of Lincoln, Nebraska.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Tuesday, June 28, 2016 at Cahall Funeral Home in Ripley, Ohio.  Rev. Clarke Castle will officiate.  Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. Tuesday.  Interment will follow the funeral service in Red Oak Cemetery near Ripley.
