Charles Edward Arnett

Charles Edward Arnett, age 77 of Russellville, Ohio, died Tuesday, April 21, 2009 at Brown County General Hospital in Georgetown, Ohio. He was a United States Air Force Korean War veteran, a United States Navy veteran and was a retired railroad facility manager for Amtrak. Mr. Arnett was born on June 28, 1931 in Campton, Kentucky, the son of the late Harris and Nora (Horton) Arnett. He was also preceded in death by three sisters - Mildred Birchfield, Kathleen Pelfrey and Jean Smith; four brothers - Austin, Victor, Maurice and Rondal Arnett.
Mr. Arnett is survived by his loving wife of fifty-six years - Edith Arnett; three children - Kimberly Sorrentino, Mark Arnett and Robin Arnett, all of Russellville, Ohio; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held at 1:15 P.M. Thursday, April 23, 2009 at Red Oak Cemetery near Ripley, Ohio. Rev. Charles Moore will officiate. Visitation will be from 12:00 to 1:00 P.M. Thursday at Cahall Funeral Home in Ripley, Ohio.
