Charles Vernon Campbell

Charles Vernon Campbell, age 67 of Mt. Orab, Ohio died Saturday, May 21, 2016 at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center in Cincinnati, Ohio. He was a retired sheriff deputy for the Brown County Sheriff’s Department for 25 years. Charles was born September 1, 1948 in Mt. Orab, Ohio the son of the late John C. and Lois M. (Crawford) Campbell. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Rena Mae (Sprowl) Campbell in 2014; one stepson – Michael D. Planck; one stepdaughter – Tangela Ormes and one sister – Phyllis Liles.
Mr. Campbell is survived by two daughters – Angela Campbell and Roselee Combs and husband Mitch all of Mt. Orab, Ohio; three stepsons – Evan Planck, III and wife Missy of Georgetown, Ohio, Jonathon Planck of Williamsburg, Ohio and Douglas Planck and partner Robert Harper of Cold Springs, Kentucky; ten grandchildren – Amber Young and husband Randy, Amanda Ormes, Xan and Zeb Planck, Kaylee Planck, Ali and Zachariah Abdoullah, Charles McKenzie, Mitchell and Diana Lykins and Nikki Paynter and four great grandchildren – Elizabeth and Emily Young, and Hailey Hill.
Visitation will be from 6:00 P.M. – 9:00 P.M. Wednesday, May 25, 2016 at the Cahall Funeral Home in Mt. Orab, Ohio. There will be no funeral service.
