Charles Koch

Charles Joseph Koch, Jr. died after a short illness on June 13, 2011 at his home in Georgetown, Ohio. Born in Cincinnati, Ohio on November 14, 1922, Mr. Koch was the oldest offspring of Charles Joseph Koch and Adah Middaugh Koch. He was a graduate of Withrow High School and the University of Cincinnati, where he was a member of the Sigma Chi fraternity and a chemical engineering major.
He also graduated from Chicago's Siebel Institute of Technology, America's oldest brewing school, and became the fifth generation in his family to brew beer. He apprenticed at all the major Cincinnati breweriesa
