Charles Ray Spires

Charles Ray Spires, age 47 of Maysville, Kentucky, formerly of Ripley, Ohio, died Thursday, January 24, 2013 at Meadowview Regional Medical Center in Maysville, Kentucky. He was a laborer. Charles Ray was born April 3, 1965 in Georgetown, Ohio the son of the late Donald and Dorothy (Winters) Spires. He was also preceded in death by two brothers - Tony Horn and Terry Spires.

Charles Ray is survived by two children - Samantha Spires and Tammy Spires Tocohua and husband Augustine, all of Maysville, Kentucky; four brothers - Dave Spires of Felicity, Ohio, Tim Spires of Ripley, Ohio, Donald Spires, Jr. of Omaha, Nebraska and Perry Horn of Ripley, Ohio; three sisters - Betty Crawford of Felicity, Ohio, Darlene Dumford of Williamsburg, Ohio and Pam Scott of Sardinia, Ohio; two grandchildren - Marcelina and Teresa Tocohua.

Following cremation, a memorial service will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Tuesday, January 29, 2013 at Cahall Funeral Home in Ripley, Ohio. Rev. John Neu will officiate. The family will receive friends from 12:00 - 1:00 P.M. Tuesday at the funeral home. Interment will be in Shinkle's Ridge Cemetery.
