Clara Gayle Reed

Clara Gayle Reed, age 102 of Georgetown, Ohio died Thursday, December 13, 2007 at the Villa Georgetown in Georgetown, Ohio. She was a homemaker. Mrs. Reed was born on April 12, 1905 in Amelia, Ohio the daughter of the late Harley and Joy (Huggins) Dunn. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Hobert E. Reed, an infant daughter, Marilyn Rose Reed, daughter, Jerolyn Rose Reed, one brother, Elbert Dunn and one sister, Bernida Harris.
Mrs. Dunn is survived by one daughter - Joy Surharski of Georgetown, Ohio; one brother - Donald Reed of Sand Springs, Oklahoma; five grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren and two great-great- grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Monday, December 17, 2007 at the Cahall Funeral Home in Georgetown, Ohio. Rev. David Wirth will officiate. Visitation will be from 1:00 - 2:00 P.M. Monday. Interment will be in the Tate Township Cemetery in Bethel, Ohio. If desired, memorials may be made to the Hospice of Hope, 215 Hughes Boulevard, Mt. Orab, Ohio 45154.
