Clorinda E. Caproni, age 85 of Ripley, Ohio, died Thursday, September 27, 2012 at her residence. She was a graduate of the Good Samaritan School of Nursing in Cincinnati, Ohio, a former Red Cross Nurse and Instructor and was in the Cadet Nurse Corp. during WWII. Mrs. Caproni was the owner of the Maysville Automated Music Co. and Brown Co. Beer Distributors. She was a member of the Courts-Fussnecker American Legion Post #367 Auxiliary for over fifty years and served as Treasurer for many of those years. She was past president of the Ripley Women's Club, the Brown Co. Business and Professional Women's Club and the Union Township Public Library Board of Trustees. She was an active member and supporter of St. Michael Catholic Church and School in Ripley and a member of the Red Hats.

Mrs. Caproni was born August 24, 1927 in Cincinnati, Ohio the daughter of the late Peter and Isabella (Giacin) Malloni. She was also preceded in death by her husband in 1980, Leo Caproni and an infant son, Christopher.

Mrs. Caproni is survived by two sons - Dr. Peter Martin Caproni and wife Vivian of Miami, Florida and John Timothy Caproni and wife Susan of Ripley, Ohio; seven grandchildren - Regina Stauder and husband Scotty of Batavia, Ohio, Tommy Caproni of Rochester Hills, Michigan, Christina Caproni of Ripley, Ohio, Michael Caproni of Ripley, Christopher Caproni of Miami, Florida, Emily Caproni of Miami, Florida and Isabella Caproni of Miami, Florida; two great grandchildren - Elsie Ring and Cole Stauder.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 3:00 P.M. on Sunday, September 30, 2012 at St. Michael Catholic Church in Ripley, Ohio. Rev. Dohrman Byers will be the Celebrant. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 9:00 P.M. Saturday evening at Cahall Funeral Home in Ripley, Ohio. Interment will be in St. Patrick Cemetery in Washington, Kentucky.
