Connie Sue McQuitty

Connie Sue McQuitty, 61 of Hamersville, Ohio, passed away Saturday, March 21, 2026 at her daughter’s home. She worked in medical records for East Side Internal Medicine for many years. Ms. McQuitty was born March 20, 1965 in Brown County, Ohio the daughter of Joan (Comberger) Waits of Mt. Orab, Ohio and the late Ralph Steven Waits. She was also preceded in death by two sisters – Tammy Taylor and Bonnie Waits; two brothers – Gary Waits and Johnny Waits.

In addition to her mother, Joan Waits, Ms. McQuitty is survived by her life partner of thirty-five years – Lucas Lindsey of Hamersville, Ohio; three children – Duane McQuitty (Angie) of Phoenix, Arizona, Tara Hagar (Michael) of Hamersville, Ohio and Patricia Lindsey of Hamersville, Ohio; one grandchild – Zoey Hagar; three sisters – Teresa Daughtery, Patty Schoenbechler and Jackie Campbell; five brothers – Terry Waits, Mike Waits, Ralph Waits, Steve Waits and Douglas Waits.

Following cremation, there will be no services. Cahall Funeral Home in Georgetown, Ohio is serving the family.
