Cynthia L. Edmisten, age 53, of Ripley, Ohio died Friday, April 6, 2007 at the Ohio Valley Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Mrs. Edmisten was a Registered Nurse. She was born in Maysville, Kentucky on September 15, 1953 the daughter of the late Stanley Trapp and Anita (Young) Trapp of Ripley, Ohio.
Besides her mother, Mrs. Edmisten is survived by her husband, Larry Edmisten; five children - Susie Hamilton of Ripley, Ohio, Jason Edmisten of Georgetown, Ohio, Melissa Edmisten of Ripley, Ohio, Aaron Edmisten of Georgetown, Ohio and Lindsey Edmisten of Ripley, Ohio; four grandchildren -Jared, Travis and Samantha Hamilton and Kara Edmisten; and six brothers and sisters - Brenda Simpson of Russellville, Ohio, Tim Trapp of Ripley, Ohio, Cheryl Brooks of Aberdeen, Ohio, Fran Jordan of Ripley, Ohio, Veronica Ante of Mt. Orab, Ohio and Tom Trapp of Ripley, Ohio.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, April 11, 2007 at the St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church in Ripley, Ohio. Visitation will be from 6:00 - 8:00 P.M. Tuesday at the Cahall Funeral Home in Ripley, Ohio. Interment will be in the Heitt's Chapel Cemetery in Ripley, Ohio. If desired, memorials may be made to the Southeast Wing of the Brown County General Hospital, 425 Home Street, Georgetown, OH 45121.
