Dale Lee Delaney

Dale Lee Delaney, age 63 of Georgetown, Ohio died Sunday, March 10, 2013 at his residence. He was a healthcare clerical worker and an Army Viet Nam veteran. He was born April 30, 1949 in Ripley, Ohio the son of the late Elwood and Gladys Grant. He was also preceded in death by three nephews - Lamar Commodore, David Delaney, Jr. and Jerrell Thomas.
Dale is survived by seven sisters - Anita Commodore of Maysville, Kentucky, Virginia Delaney, Tanya Lightfoot, Pamela Jones and Cheryl Lewis all of Georgetown, Ohio, Angela Perry of Maysville, Kentucky and Michelle Grant of Cincinnati, Ohio, two brothers - David Delaney and Thomas Grant both of Georgetown, Ohio, one aunt - Juanita Hinton of Falmouth, Kentucky and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 P.M. Sunday, March 17, 2013 at the Georgetown United Methodist Church in Georgetown, Ohio. Rev. James Settles will officiate. Visitation will be from 2:00 P.M. - 3:00 P.M. Sunday at the church. Interment will be in the Confidence Cemetery in Georgetown, Ohio with veterans services by the Carey Bavis American Legion Post #180. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
