Dale Edward Koerner
June 20, 1927 — January 21, 2009
Dale Edward Koerner, age 81 of Ripley, Ohio, died Wednesday, January 21, 2009 at The Ohio Veteran's Home in Georgetown, Ohio. He was a United States Army WW II Veteran, a member of the Ripley Lion's Club and a member of The Ripley First Presbyterian Church. Mr. Koerner was born on June 20, 1927 in Chicago, Illinois,the son of the late Edward and Mildred (Thompson) Koerner.
Mr. Koerner is survived by his wife - Mary Louise (DeVore) Koerner; one daughter - Karen Sanders and husband Martin of Mainville, Ohio; four grandchildren - Josh, Katy, Jenny and Holly Sanders and one sister - Doris Pierce of Madison, Wisconsin.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 P.M. on Saturday, January 24, 2009 at Cahall Funeral Home in Ripley, Ohio. Rev. J. E. DeVore will officiate. Visitation will be from 1:00 to 3:00 P.M. on Saturday. Interment will follow in Red Oak Cemetery near Ripley, Ohio.
