Dale Truitt

Dale E. Truitt, age 69 of Ripley, Ohio died Friday, August 1, 2014 at the Southwest Regional Medical Center in Georgetown, Ohio. He was the owner and operator of Truitt Trucking which he started in 1976, a farmer and worked for R K LeBlond for 15 years. Dale was born December 26, 1944 in Ripley, Ohio the son of the late Junior and Agnes (Vaughn) Truitt. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister - Betty Daniel and father-in-law - Harold Schmidt.

Mr.Truitt is survived by his wife of 49 years - Linda (Schmidt) Truitt, whom he married February 27, 1965; one son - Jeffrey Dale Truitt of Ripley, Ohio; three brothers - Donald, Gary and Jack Truitt all of Georgetown, Ohio; four sisters - Evelyn Polley of Manchester, Ohio, June Ann McKinney of Ripley, Ohio, Shirley Brierly of Ripley, Ohio and Linda Blevins and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Monday, August 4, 2014 at the Cahall Funeral Home in Ripley, Ohio. Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. - 1:00 P.M. Monday at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Maplewood Cemetery in Ripley, Ohio.
