Daniel (Joey) Brown, Jr.

Daniel (Joey) Brown, Jr., age 54 of Georgetown, Ohio died Saturday, July 2, 2016 at his residence. He was a machinist at Siemens. Mr. Brown was a member of the United States Bowling Congress, a 2014 inductee into the Greater Cincinnati Bowling Association Hall of Fame and was an Ohio State Bowling Tournament Champion and a Greater Cincinnati Bowling Mixed Tournament Champion. He was born June 15, 1962 in Georgetown, Ohio the son of Diana Brown of Georgetown, Ohio and the late Daniel Brown, Sr.

Mr. Brown is survived by his wife – Betsy (Maxfield) Brown, whom he married December 31, 1988; one daughter – Denise Lewis and husband Mike of Lexington, Kentucky; one step son – Thomas Magnussen of Higginsport, Ohio; three grandchildren – Sam, Annie and Sophia Lewis; one step grandson – Ryan Magnussen; his mother – Diana (Smith) Brown of Georgetown, Ohio; three brothers – Dennis Brown and wife Doris of Hillsboro, Ohio, Douglas Brown and Donald Brown – both of Georgetown, Ohio; one sister – Debra Voegle and husband Steve of Metamora, Indiana and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, July 9, 2016 at the Cahall Funeral Home in Ripley, Ohio. Alex Brown will officiate. Visitation will be from 12:00 P.M. – 2:00 P.M. Saturday at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Confidence Cemetery in Georgetown, Ohio.
