Darrell Lee Stone

Darrell Lee Stone, age 68 of Sardinia, Ohio passed away Saturday, June 7, 2025 peacefully at his residence just days after the loss of his mother. He was born June 30, 1956 in Winchester, Kentucky the son of the late Ernest C. Stone and Juanita V. (Elkin) Stone. Darrell lived a life filled with love for his family and will be remembered for his many passions. He was a gifted woodworker who found joy in crafting beautiful pieces and he cherished the time spent outdoors, pursuing activities like fishing, camping and hiking, especially in the beautiful Great Smoky Mountains. In addition to his hobbies, Darrell dedicated time to volunteering with the Ohio Baptist Builders, showcasing his commitment to service. However, his greatest love was for his children and grandchildren. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister – Deborah Martin in 2015.

Mr. Stone is survived by his loving partner - Debbie Sheppard; one son - Justin Stone and wife Jessica of Amelia, Ohio; two grandchildren - Madison and Wyatt Stone; one step-daughter - Ashley Quesenberry and her fiancé - George Wray of West Virginia: two step-grandchildren - Morgan and Angela Duncan; two sisters - Vickie Wright and husband Danny of Batavia, Ohio and Karen Spurlock of Sardinia, Ohio; many nieces, nephews and extended family members who will miss him dearly and his fur baby - Willy.

Funeral services for Darrell and Juanita will be held at 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, June 10, 2025 at the First Baptist Church, 704 South High Street, Mt.Orab, Ohio 45154. Pastor Ed Jones and James Smith will officiate. Visitation will be from 12:00 P.M. – 1:00 P.M. Tuesday at the church. Interment will be in the Mt.Orab Cemetery in Mt.Orab, Ohio. The Cahall Funeral Home in Mt.Orab, Ohio is serving the family.
