Darrell Lee Woodruff

Darrell Lee Woodruff, age 40 of Higginsport, Ohio, died Friday, January 1, 2010 at Brown County General Hospital in Georgetown, Ohio. He was an over the road truck driver for Royal Logistics, a 20 year member of the Higginsport Fire Dept. and a former member of the Ripley Life Squad. Darrell was born November 24, 1969 in Georgetown, Ohio, the son of Wanda (Kiskaden) Doyle and the late Fred Woodruff. He was also preceded in death by one sister, Rebecca Gillenwater.
In addition to his mother, Darrell is survived by his wife - Trina (Guinn) Woodruff; one daughter - Chassidy Woodruff of Higginsport, Ohio; one stepdaughter - Delcina Jones of Galena, Ohio; one stepson - Brian Crawford of Blanchester, Ohio; three step grandchildren - Calysta Crawford, Brenton and Craig Jones; one brother - Dewayne Woodruff of Georgetown, Ohio; a stepfather - Bud Gillenwater and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday, January 6, 2010 at Cahall Funeral Home in Ripley, Ohio. Visitation will be from 12:00 to 2:00 P.M. Wednesday. Interment will follow in Shinkle's Ridge Cemetery near Higginsport, Ohio.
