David E. Henderson

David E. Henderson, age 73 of Mt. Orab, Ohio died Friday, March 4, 2016 at the Mt. Orab Medical Center in Mt. Orab, Ohio. Mr. Henderson was retired after thirty-five years of service with General Electric as a tool design and maintenance supervisor. He also was a Pike Township trustee for twenty-three years and a member of the Marathon Lodge F &AM #23 in Williamsburg, Ohio. He was born June 21, 1942 in Mt. Orab, Ohio the son of the late George Walter and Mary Helen (Malott) Henderson. Mr. Henderson also was preceded in death by one brother – Kevin Henderson and one sister – Rebecca Henderson.

Mr. Henderson is survived by his wife of fifty-two years – Darlene (Henline) Henderson, whom he married December 22, 1963. Three children – Ronda Hall and husband Rocky of Felicity, Ohio, Sonda Napier and companion Jim Frank of Burlington, Kentucky and Kevin Henderson and wife Pattie of Eastgate, Ohio; seven grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; two sisters – Susie Baugus and husband Bill of Mt. Orab, Ohio and Kathy Henderson of Batavia, Ohio; two brothers – Gary Henderson and wife Eileen and Jim Henderson and wife Kathy all of Mt. Orab, Ohio and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 7:00 P.M. Tuesday, March 8, 2016 at the Cahall Funeral Home in Mt. Orab, Ohio. Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. – 7:00 P.M. Tuesday. A private burial will be held in the New Harmony Cemetery at the convenience of the family. If desired, memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
