David L. Latham

David Lloyd Latham, age 61 of Georgetown, Ohio passed away Wednesday, June 17, 2026 at the Ohio Valley Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center near Ripley, Ohio. He was born February 1, 1965 the son of James and Mary (Fithen) Latham of Georgetown, Ohio. Dave was a hardworking farmer and a retired lineman who once kept the lights on for the Village of Georgetown. He had a real knack for tending to his cattle, taking pride in the land and livestock he cared for every day. Dave was also a passionate fan of Dirt Track Racing, a love he shared and enjoyed alongside his sons. When he wasn’t out on the farm or at the races, he liked to spend time riding his motorcycle, feeling the open road beneath him. Dave will be fondly remembered for his dedication, his love of family and the simple pleasures that made his life full.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Latham is survived by two sons – David J. Latham and wife Ruth and Dylan Latham both of Georgetown, Ohio; three grandchildren – Alex, Mason and Arianna Latham; one brother – Randy Latham and wife Donna of Georgetown, Ohio; two sisters – Pamela Dunseith of Georgetown, Ohio and Amy Tucker and husband Rob of Bethel, Ohio; many nieces and nephews and his significant other – Michelle Latham of Georgetown, Ohio.

Funeral services will be held at 7:00 P.M. Monday, June 22, 2026 at the Cahall Funeral Home in Georgetown, Ohio. Jason Galley will officiate. Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. – 7:00 P.M. Monday at the funeral home.
