Deborah Anna Kemmeter

Mrs. Deborah Kemmeter, age 58 of Ripley, Ohio, died Monday, April 7, 2008 at her residence. She was a Lifetime member of The Maysville VFW Post #2734, The Ripley DAV and The Brown Co. Rangers. Mrs. Kemmeter was born on February, 6, 1950 in Maysville, Kentucky,  the daughter of the late Henry and Pearl Lightner. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 29 years, Frank Kemmeter, Sr., two sisters and one brother.

Mrs. Kemmeter is survived by eleven children - Rebecca Curtis of Aberdeen, Ohio; Shawn Daniels of Portsmouth, Ohio; Larry Kemmeter of Winchester, Ohio; Frank Kemmeter, Jr.of Ripley, Ohio; Terry Kemmeter of Ripley,Ohio; Jeff Kemmeter of Felicity, Ohio; Linda Sandlin of Union, Kentucky; Karen Kemmeter of Albany, Ohio; Wally Kemmeter of Decatur, Ohio; Mike Kemmeter of Ripley, Ohio and Beverly Crawford of Union, Kentucky; twenty-one grandchildren; thirty-four great-grandchildren; five sisters - Brenda Medley of Carlisle, Kentucky; Linda Lawson of Pacific, Missouri; Eva Lanter of Mt. Orab, Ohio; Deloris Paul of Aberdeen, Ohio and Wanda Perraut of Aberdeen, Ohio; five brothers - Woody Day of Flemingsburg, Kentucky, Ronnie Day of Naples, Florida; Rudy Lightner of Ripley, Ohio; Lewis Lightner of Bethel, Ohio and John Lightner of Aberdeen, Ohio

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, April 10, 2008 at Cahall Funeral Home in Ripley, Ohio. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Wednesday evening at the funeral home . Interment will follow the funeral service in Maplewood Cemetery in Ripley.
