Delmor Thomas Jones, age 83 of Russellville, Ohio, died Thursday, October 7, 2010 at the Ohio Veterans Home in Georgetown, Ohio. He was a United States Army World War II Veteran. Mr. Jones, along with his wife, was the former owner of Jones Carryout in Ripley, Ohio and the current owners of the Century Tavern in Russellville, Ohio. He was also a farmer and was retired from the Forrest Hills School District, where he worked in maintenance. Mr. Jones was born August 24, 1927 in Fleming County, Kentucky the son of the late Mason and Ollie (Mitchell) Jones. He was also preceded in death by three sons - John, Steve and Keith Jones.

Mr. Jones is survived by his loving wife of nearly sixty one years, Mable (Poole) Jones; two daughters - Ollie Bissantz of Russellville, Ohio and Pam Wills of Winchester, Ohio; nine grandchildren and eight great grandchildren; three daughters in law - Marsha, Rhonda and Margie.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Monday, October 11, 2010 at Cahall Funeral Home in Ripley, Ohio. Rev. Bill Kirby will officiate. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. Sunday evening at the funeral home. Interment will follow the funeral service in Maplewood Cemetery in Ripley, Ohio. Military honors will be provided by the Courts- Fussnecker American Legion Post #367 of Ripley, Ohio
