Dennis P. Burdsal, Sr., age 66 of Ripley, Ohio, died Sunday, December 4, 2016 at his residence. He was a metallurgist/engineer and did nondestructive testing at various places throughout the United States. He had a love for music and it was always a big part of his life. Mr. Burdsal was born December 6, 1949 in Cincinnati, Ohio the son of the late Alms and Carolyn (Kreuzman) Burdsal.
Mr. Burdsal is survived by one daughter – Anna E. Burdsal; one son – Dennis P. Burdsal, II; his grandson and “best buddy” – Bo Burdsal; his life partner of eighteen years – Kathleen “Kitty” Emery; one stepson – Joseph D. Emery; one sister – Sandra Hathaway and husband Robert; one nephew – Kyle Hathaway; one niece – Holly Werderman; one uncle – Henry Kreuzman and wife Dorothy; two aunts – Patricia Fritz and Mary Ellen Koehne; numerous cousins; many friends, especially childhood friends that he kept close.
Following cremation, there will be no services.
