Denton “Bud” Stogsdill, age 81 of Georgetown, Ohio and formerly of Cincinnati, Ohio died Sunday, April 20, 2014 at the Ohio Veterans Home in Georgetown, Ohio. He was retired from the Formica Corporation, a Sunday School Superintendent and other roles as necessary at his church, a Boy Scout Leader and a United States Korean War Navy Veteran. Bud was born February 27, 1933 in Ula, Kentucky the son of the late Hubert and Allene (Phelps) Stogsdill. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by by his first wife, Loretta Fay Stogsdill, one son – Ronald Stogsdill and one sister – Marge Moore.

Mr. Stogsdill is survived by his wife of twenty-eight years, Rita K. (Sullivan) Stogsdill; one son – David Stogsdill of Fairfield, Ohio; one daughter – Nadine Parker of Kansas City, Kansas; two sisters – Jessie Linville of Goshen, Ohio and Kathy Gill of Largo, Florida and several nieces, nephews and grandchildren.

Following cremation, private services will be held at the convenience of the family. There will be no visitation. Inurnment will be in the Crown Hill Cemetery in Cincinnati, Ohio. The Cahall Funeral Home in Georgetown, Ohio is serving the family.
