Diana K. Gilbert

Diana Kay Gilbert, age 73 of Aberdeen, Ohio passed away Saturday, November 15, 2025 at the Hospice of Hope Inpatient Care at Adams County Regional Medical Center in Seaman, Ohio. She was born July 15, 1952 in Mason County, Kentucky the daughter of the late Samuel and Reva (Gulley) Stacy. Diana was a dedicated stitcher for PCP in Ripley, Ohio. She found joy in the simple pleasures of life, including bowling and shopping. Above all, her greatest pride and joy were the cherished moments spent with her grandchildren. Diana will be remembered for her warmth and the love she shared with her family. Her legacy will live on in the hearts of those who knew her. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband – Donald Eugene Gilbert in 1999 and one brother – Samuel Stacy.

Mrs. Gilbert is survived by two sons – Bobby Gilbert of Aberdeen and Devin Jordan and wife Becca of Aberdeen, Ohio; three grandchildren – Zander, Zailey and Zivah; one brother – Dwight Thompson and wife Sissy of Higginsport, Ohio and numerous bowling friends and work friends.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Friday, November 21, 2025 at the Cahall Funeral Home in Ripley, Ohio. Clark Castle will officiate. Visitation will be from 12:00 P.M. – 1:00 P.M. Friday at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Decatur Cemetery in Decatur, Ohio.
