Don Champney

Don Champney, age 87 of Georgetown, Ohio and formerly of Columbus, Ohio, died Saturday, November 15, 2014 at the Ohio Veterans Home in Georgetown, Ohio. He was a United States Navy World War II Veteran and a retired architect. Mr. Champney was born September 8, 1927 in Detroit, Michigan the son of the late Marjorie Porter.
Mr. Champney is survived by two daughters - Christine A. Forte and husband Frank of Milford, Ohio and Sarah Sieber of Columbus, Ohio; eight grandchildren; ten great grandchildren and one sister - Carol Silversides of Redford, Michigan.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, November 24, 2014 at the Elmwood Historic Cemetery in Detroit, Michigan.
