Donald Eugene Neu

Donald Eugene Neu, age 77 of Flemingsburg, Kentucky died Thursday, June 5, 2014 at the St. Claire Regional Medical Center in Morehead, Kentucky. Mr. Neu was a farmer, maintenance man, a U.S. Army veteran and a member of the New Creation Praise and Worship Center in Flemingsburg, Kentucky. He was born March 6, 1937 in Sardinia, Ohio the son of the late Harold and Edith (Henize) Neu. He was also preceded in death by one brother - Duane Neu.
Mr. Neu is survived by his wife of fifty-two years - Nancy (Snider) Neu whom he married June 23, 1961; one daughter - Debra Hoffman and husband Jeffrey of Ellsworth, Wisconsin; one son - Kenneth E. Neu of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; two grandchildren; one step granddaughter; one step great granddaughter and one niece.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Monday, June 9, 2014 at the Confidence Cemetery in Georgetown, Ohio with veterans services by the Carey Bavis American Legion Post #180. There will be no visitation. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to the New Creation Praise and Worship Center, 2246 Mockingbird Hill, Flemingsburg, Kentucky 41041. The Cahall Funeral Home in Georgetown, Ohio is serving the family.
