Donna Dean (Racel) Kattine, 76 years old, of Aberdeen, Ohio passed away peacefully with her family at her side Monday, Oct. 19, 2015 at the Ohio Valley Manor in Ripley, Ohio. She was the firstborn child to the late Edna Mae (Breeze) Racel and James Mack Racel, Sr. on September 8, 1939 at Hayswood Hospital in Maysville, Kentucky.
Donna attended Maysville High School. She was a member of the Ripley Church of Christ.
In addition to her parents, Donna was preceded in death by her husband, Richard (Dickie) Kattine, whose death occurred December 10, 2010; one sister, Terri Lee (Racel) Lewis, and her mother-in-law, Dorothy Kattine.
Donna is survived by her brother, James Mack (Cheryl) Racel, Jr. of Florida; her children, Kendra (Rusty) Yeager of Texas, Bill (Jennifer) Castle Jr. of Mudlick, Ky., Monda (Gail) Erskine of Tollesboro, Ky., Tracy M. Castle of Maysville, Ky., James W. (Jay) Castle of Tollesboro, Ky., Greg Kattine of Georgetown, Ohio, and Ricky Littleton of West Virginia; her grandchildren, Joshua (Malena) Castle of Pleasureville, Ky., Melody (Chris) Evans and Bethany (Jon) May all of Maysville, Ky., Keenan (Noelle) Yeager and Micah (Monica) Yeager all of Texas, Greg Kattine II of Georgetown, Ohio; and great-grandchildren, Anson, Kynlee, Kyleigh, Maddie, Isobel (Isy), Bentley, Jonika, Jonathan and Brittany. She is also survived by her special first cousins, Kirby (Terri) Wright of Maysville, Ky. and Kathy (Gary) Orner, of Hebron, Ohio, and numerous other family members and friends.
Visitation will be held from 6–8 pm Friday, October 23rd at Cahall Funeral Home in Ripley, Ohio. Funeral services will take place at 2:00 pm Saturday, October 24th at Cahall Funeral Home in Ripley, Ohio with Rev. John Neu officiating. Interment will follow at Charter Oak Cemetery at Aberdeen, Ohio.Pallbearers will be family members.
