Donna Marie (Hart) Maggard

Donna Marie Maggard, age 57 of Butler, Kentucky and formerly of Georgetown, Ohio passed peacefully Thursday, May 30, 2019 at her residence. She was a loving daughter, mother, grandmother, and friend. Donna was born March 23, 1962 in Mineola, New York the daughter of Rita M. (Fitschen) Hart of Margate, Florida and the late William R. Hart. She was preceded in death by her husband – John Sidney Maggard in 2002 whom she married June 6, 1982.

Mrs. Maggard is survived by one daughter – Tina Maggard and fiancé Douglas Taylor of Butler, Kentucky; one son – John Paul Maggard and wife Sarah of Stamping Ground, Kentucky; two grandchildren – Adalynn and Evelynn Maggard; her mother – Rita M. Hart of Margate, Florida and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and in-laws.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, June 4, 2019 at the Cahall Funeral Home in Georgetown, Ohio. Ken Ogle will officiate. Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. – 8:00 P.M. Monday at the funeral home. All attendees are encouraged to include the color purple in these services, as this was Donna’s favorite color, and also represents the fight against pancreatic cancer. Interment will be in the Confidence Cemetery in Georgetown, Ohio.
