Dora Lee Lands

Dora Lee Lands, age 90 of Georgetown, Ohio passed away Wednesday, June 10, 2026 at her residences. She was born June 14, 1935 in Flemingsburg, Kentucky the daughter of the late Harry and Bessie (Bradley) Waltz. Dora was a retired Union Organizer for the United Steel Workers in Cincinnati, Ohio. She was also a valued member of the South Norwood Church of Christ. Her commitment to her work and community was deeply appreciated by all who knew her. Dora's legacy of service and faith will be fondly remembered. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband – Curtis Lands in 2003 and one grandson – Kyle Preston in 2001.

Mrs. Lands is survived by one daughter – Andria Preston and husband Michael of Georgetown, Ohio; one grandson – Orrin Preston of Mason, Ohio; three great-grandchildren and one brother – Scott Waltz of Loveland, Ohio.

Graveside services will be held at 1:30 P.M. Tuesday, June 16, 2026 at the Confidences Cemetery in Georgetown, Ohio. The Cahall Funeral Home in Georgetown, Ohio is serving the family.
