Dorene "Nana" Schneider

Dorene “Nana” Schneider, age 100 of Hamersville, Ohio died Thursday, September 17, 2015 at the Villa Georgetown in Georgetown, Ohio. She was a homemaker and a member of the Hamersville Church of Christ. Mrs. Schneider was born October 6, 1914 in Cedron, Ohio the daughter of the late Jesse H. and Mable (Crawford) Pride. She was also preceded in death by her husband - Carl Q. Schneider in 1995, they were married December 24, 1931; one daughter – JoAnn Schneider Gilbert, two daughters-in-law, two grandchildren, two great grandchildren and three sisters.

Mrs. Schneider is survived by three children -Donald Carl Schneider, Judy Ellen Schneider Neu and husband Robert and Dennis Neil Schneider and wife Jackie all of Hamersville, Ohio; eighteen grandchildren, twenty-seven- great grandchildren, five great great grandchildren, one sister – June Pride Holden and husband Hugh of Cincinnati, Ohio and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 10:00 A.M. Monday, September 21, 2015 at the Hamersville Church of Christ, 203 E. Main Street, Hamersville, Ohio. Troy Braunstein will be officiating. Visitation will be from 6:00 P.M. – 8:00 P.M. Sunday at the Cahall Funeral Home, 204 West State Street, Georgetown, Ohio. Interment will be in the Felicity Cemetery in Felicity, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the donor’s choice.
