Doris Jean (Benjamin) Banks

Doris Jean Banks, age 73 of Hamersville, Ohio, died Sunday, June 4, 2017 at her residence. She was a homemaker and attended the Bible Baptist Church in Mt. Orab, Ohio. Mrs. Banks was born September 1, 1943 in Georgetown, Ohio the daughter of the late John and Mary Rosella (Hiler) Benjamin.
Mrs. Banks is survived by her loving husband of fifty years – John D. Banks; one daughter – Sherri Rees of Hamersville, Ohio; one son – John Banks and wife Lora of Withamsville, Ohio; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Thursday, June 8, 2017 at Cahall Funeral Home in Georgetown, Ohio. Rev. Jason Jordan will officiate. Visitation will be from 1:00 to 2:00 P.M. on Thursday. Interment will follow the funeral service in Confidence Cemetery in Georgetown.
