Doris M (Gast) Gaither

Doris M. Gaither, age 86 of Ripley, Ohio, died Wednesday, December 30, 2015 at Meadowview Regional Hospital in Maysville, Kentucky.  She was a homemaker and a member of St. Michael Catholic Church in Ripley.  Mrs. Gaither was born October 10, 1929 in Brown County, Ohio the daughter of the late Albert and Marie (Pepper) Gast.  She was also preceded in death by two sisters – Thelma Margaret Malone and Mary Jean Eyler; two brothers – Donald “Buck” Gast and John Gast.

Mrs. Gaither is survived by her loving husband of sixty-two years – Wilbur “Peep" Gaither; several nieces and nephews and one brother-in-law – Ralph Gaither.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, January 5, 2016 at St. Michael Catholic Church in Ripley, Ohio.  Rev. Ted Kosse will be the Celebrant.  Visitation will be from 4:00 to 6:00 P.M. on Monday, January 4 at Cahall Funeral Home in Ripley.  Interment will be in Maplewood Cemetery in Ripley.
