Dorothy Marie Haitz

Dorothy Marie Haitz, age 96 of Ripley, Ohio, died Monday, October 12, 2015 at the Ohio Valley Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center near Ripley, Ohio.  She was a farmer, a homemaker, a member of St. Michael Catholic Church and a member of the Rosary Altar Society.  Mrs. Haitz was born March 4, 1919 in Ripley, Ohio the daughter of the late Michael George and Mary Catherine (Hermann) Germann.  She was also preceded in death by her husband – Virgil J. Haitz; one daughter – Janice Marie Jett; one sister – Bette Marchese and one brother – Charles Germann.

Mrs. Haitz is survived by one daughter – Arlene Rose Camacho and husband Art of Dayton, Ohio; one son – Johnny A. Haitz and wife Beverly of Ripley, Ohio; seven grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.

A rosary service will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Thursday, October 15, 2015 at St. Michael Catholic Church in Ripley with Mass of Christian Burial immediately following.  Rev. Dohrman Byers will be the Celebrant.  There will be no visitation.  Interment will be in Maplewood Cemetery in Ripley.
