Dorothy Lee Polly, age 80 of Maysville, Kentucky, formerly of Hamersville, Ohio died Tuesday, November 12, 2013 at her daughter's residence in Maysville, Kentucky. Mrs. Polly was a homemaker. She was born December 26, 1932 in Bethel, Ohio the daughter of the late George and Ethel (Marksberry) Smitson. She was also preceded in death by her husband of fifty-three years - H. Gordon Polly in 2012.
Mrs. Polly is survived by her only child - Lisa Gayle (Polly) Griffey and her husband Jeffrey of Maysville, Kentucky; four grandchildren - Brandon Gilliam, Matthew Kilgore and wife Kati and Kelsey Osborne all of Hamersville, Ohio and Shelby Osborne of Maysville, Kentucky and four great grandchildren - Lacey and Dylan Kilgore and Hayden and Corbin Osborne.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, November 16, 2013 at the Cahall Funeral Home in Georgetown, Ohio. Gary Brose will officiate. Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. - 1:00 P.M. Saturday. Interment will be in the Rosehill Cemetery in Feesburg, Ohio. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to the Hospice of Hope, 215 Hughes Boulevard, Mt. Orab, Ohio 45154.
