Dorothy Marie Wilson, age 80 of Ripley, Ohio, died Sunday, May 8, 2016 at Hospice of the Valley Friendship Village in Tempe, Arizona, due to complications from Alzheimer’s disease. She was a bank teller for the Bank of Maysville in Maysville, Kentucky for over thirty years. She was very active in St. Michaels Parish in Ripley, Ohio and was also involved in the Ohio Right to Life organization and the Pregnancy Resource Center in Georgetown, Ohio. Mrs. Wilson was born April 29, 1936 in Ripley, Ohio the daughter of the late Lawrence A. and Leona P. (Wright) Schumacher. She was also preceded in death by her husband of fifty years, Don Wilson.
Mrs. Wilson is survived by one daughter – Joanne Wagner of Ripley, Ohio; one son – Tim Wilson and wife Carol of Phoenix, Arizona; two grandchildren – Ross and Kate.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, May 14, 2016 at St. Michael Catholic Church in Ripley, Ohio. Rev. Ted Kosse will be the Celebrant. Visitation will be from 9:00 to 10:30 A.M. Saturday at Cahall Funeral Home in Ripley. Interment will be in Maplewood Cemetery in Ripley.
