Douglas Wayne Berry

Douglas Wayne Berry, age 55 of Ripley, Ohio, died Saturday, November 15, 2008 at the Adams County Hospital in Seaman, Ohio. He was a United States Army Veteran. Doug was born on June 16, 1953 in Georgetown, Ohio the son of Elizabeth (West) Berry of Ripley, Ohio and the late George Douglas Berry. He was also preceded in death by one brother, Jack Lee Berry.
In addition to his mother, Doug is survived by one son - Jerry Powell of Ripley, Ohio; two sisters - Brenda Mitchell of Aberdeen, Ohio and Barbara Bradford of Ripley, Ohio; three brothers - George Berry of Aberdeen, Ohio, Mark Berry of Maysville, Kentucky and Chris Berry of Ripley, Ohio; three aunts - Phyllis Myers, Frances Adams and Laurie Cantrell, all of Ripley and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, November 19, 2008 at the Cahall Funeral Home in Ripley, Ohio. Rev. Clark Castle will officiate. Visitation will be from 12:00 to 1:00 P.M. on Wednesday at the funeral home. Interment will be in Maplewood Cemetery in Ripley with military honors provided by The Courts Fussnecker American Legion Post #367 of Ripley, Ohio.
