Dwight R. Day, Sr.

Dwight Ray Day, Sr., age 57 of Wahlsburg, Ohio died Tuesday, April 28, 2015 at his residence. He was a retired welder and farmer. Dwight was born March 14, 1958 in Georgetown, Ohio the son of the late Glenn and Anna (Allan) Day. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers-in-law – Michael Bartley and Phillip Watson.

Mr. Day is survived by his wife of thirty-two years – Erma Theresa (Cook) Day; one son – Dwight Ray Day, Jr. and wife Stephanie (Goebel) of Georgetown, Ohio; one step-son – Dale Cook and wife Kelle (Edmisten) of Mt.Orab, Ohio; four grandchildren – Logan and Amber Day, Brady Cook and Blake Wohlford; three sisters – Carol Bauer and husband Keith of Georgetown, Ohio, Christine Bartley of Wahlsburg, Ohio and Betty Cole and husband Ryan of Seaman, Ohio; one brother – Thomas Day of Wahlsburg, Ohio and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, May 2, 2015 at the Cahall Funeral Home in Georgetown, Ohio. Pastor Rex Schrolucke will officiate. Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. – 1:00 P.M. Saturday at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Confidence Cemetery in Georgetown, Ohio
