Edith Irene Lindsey

Edith Irene Lindsey, age 92 of Mt. Orab, Ohio died Thursday, February 4, 2016 at the Eastgate Springs Nursing Home in Cincinnati, Ohio. She was a loving wife, beloved mother and a homemaker. Edith was born March 16, 1923 in Sardinia, Ohio the daughter of the late William and Goldie (Arthur) Kelch. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by one infant son; one sister and six brothers.

Mrs. Lindsey is survived by her husband of 63 years – Carl Lindsey whom she married on May 3, 1952 til death do they part; one daughter – Sherry Lindsey of Cincinnati, Ohio; three sons – Ronald Lindsey and wife Sharon of Georgetown, Ohio, Randy Lindsey of Batavia, Ohio and Rick Lindsey of Hamersville, Ohio; three grandchildren – Hannah Lindsey of Cincinnati, Ohio, Krista Cockrell and Jeffery Lindsey both of Georgetown, Ohio and five great grandchildren – Ivy and Avriel Warman both of Georgetown, Ohio and Alexis, Anna and Autumn Lindsey all of Mt. Orab, Ohio.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, February 9, 2016 at the Cahall Funeral Home in Mt. Orab, Ohio. Pastor Bruce Dickerson will officiate. Visitation will be from 1:00 P.M. - 2:00 P.M. Tuesday at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Confidence Cemetery in Georgetown, Ohio.
