Edith Idell Sturm

Edith Idell Sturm, age 93 of Georgetown, Ohio, died Wednesday, September 19, 2007 at her grandson's home in Mt. Orab, Ohio. She was a homemaker. Mrs. Sturm was born on November 6, 1913 in Georgetown, Ohio the daughter of the late George and Minnie (Fite) McKinzie. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Julius Sturm in 2001; one son, Robert Paul Sturm and seven siblings, Clarence and Albert Sturm, Martha Purdon, Cecil Wingate, Mary Krebs, Eva Piatt and Cleo Hart.

Mrs. Sturm is survived by one son - William Sturm of Sardinia, Ohio; three grandchildren - John Sturm of Georgetown, Ohio, Jeff Sturm and wife Sue of Mt. Orab, Ohio and Janet Kinney and husband Kevin of Sharonville, Ohio; three great-grandchildren - Samantha Jo Sturm and Joshua and Jakop Kinney, two step-great-grandchildren - Jaycob & Justin Clements and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Sunday, September 23, 2007 at the Cahall Funeral Home in Georgetown, Ohio. Rev. Bill Arnold will officiate. Visitation will be held from 12:00-2:00 P.M. Sunday. Interment will be in the Confidence Cemetery. If desired, memorials may be made to the Hospice of Hope, 215 Hughes Boulevard, Mt. Orab, Ohio 45154 or the American Cancer Society.
