Edith Hunt Wyatt, age 90, of Hamersville, Ohio died Tuesday, January 10, 2006 at the Ohio Valley Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Ripley, Ohio. Mrs. Wyatt was a Registered Nurse at the Brown County General Hospital for many years, was a fund raiser for the Brown County Alzheimer's Memory Walk, a member of the Mt. Nebo United Methodist Church and the Order of the Eastern Star. She was born on April 20, 1915 in Abilene, Virginia the daughter of the late Thornton Robertson and Maggie Mildred (Bond) Hunt. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Verner E. Wyatt, one daughter, Jean Barbis, one granddaughter, Mendy Oney, one sister, Marion Starke and one brother, Ralph Hunt.
Mrs. Wyatt is survived by two daughters - Bonnie Oney and husband Elden of Hamersville, Ohio and Joan W. Bender and husband Bill of Mariemont, Ohio; 8 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; son-in-law - Elio Barbis of Deland, Florida; one Step brother - Gene Butler of Roanoke, Virginia; two brothers-in-law - Estel Wyatt of Moscow, Ohio and Jesse Wyatt of Orlando, Florida and several nieces, nephews and friends.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M. Saturday, January 14, 2006 at the Cahall Funeral Home in Georgetown, Ohio. Rev. Mike Starkey will officiate. Visitation will be from 5:00 - 8:00 P.M. Friday evening. Interment will be in the Chilo Hill Cemetery near Chilo, Ohio. If desired, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Research Association, Mt. Nebo United Methodist Church or the Brown County General Hospital Auxiliary.
