Edmund Ray Kirkpatrick

Edmund "Ray" Kirkpatrick, age 83 of Hamersville, Ohio died Friday, November 2, 2007 at the Brown County General Hospital in Georgetown, Ohio. Mr. Kirkpatrick was a retired truck driver and an Army World War II Veteran. He was born on March 24, 1924 in Hamersville, Ohio the son of the late Harry Lee and Lena Blanche (Chatterton) Kirkpatrick. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Mary Evelyn (Pope) Kirkpatrick.

Mr. Kirkpatrick is survived by one son - Jim Kirkpatrick and wife Judy of Mt. Orab, Ohio; one daughter - Sandy Bell and husband George of Milford, Ohio; four grandchildren - Dusty (Missy) and Darry (Rhonda) Kirkpatrick, Brian (Jen) Richard and Jami (Kyle) Eversole; ten grandchildren and devoted and loving friend, Velma Anderson.

Anatomical gifts were made to the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine by Ray and his wife Evelyn who died on April 25, 1999. A memorial service for both Ray and Evelyn will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, November 10, 2007 at the Hamersville Church of Christ in Hamersville, Ohio. A luncheon will follow in the church fellowship hall. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the church or charity of your choice. The Cahall Funeral Home in Georgetown, Ohio is serving the family.
