Edna Elora Tyler

Edna Elora Tyler, age 90 of Wilmington, Ohio, formerly of Georgetown, Ohio, died Tuesday, December 23, 2008 at the Continental Manor in Blanchester, Ohio. She was a retired secretary for the Internal Revenue Service and the Brown County Engineers Office, a member of the Brown County General Hospital Auxiliary and the Georgetown Church of Christ. Edna was born on March 14, 1918 in Higginsport, Ohio, the daughter of the late William and Abbie (Schuler) Tyler. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by three sisters - Alvina Zoellner, Alma Gardner and Lorena Thackston.

Miss Tyler is survived by one nephew - Kerry Thackston and wife Joyce of Wilmington, Ohio; four nieces - Karen Kuckar and husband Phil of Arcanum, Ohio; Kathy Howard and husband Matt of Amelia, Ohio; Jane Griffith and husband Charlie of Cincinnati, Ohio and Pauline Gardner and husband Jack of Amelia, Ohio; four great-nephews, five great-nieces and twelve great-great nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Friday, December 26, 2008 at the Confidence Cemetery in Georgetown, Ohio. Scott Hennig will officiate. There will be no visitation. The Cahall Funeral Home in Georgetown, Ohio is serving the family. Memorial contributions may be made to the Georgetown Church of Christ, 149 Hamer Road, Georgetown, Ohio 45121.
