Elbert Morgan "Junior" Burton

Elbert Morgan "Junior" Burton, age 58, of Georgetown, Ohio died Sunday, March 20, 2005 at the Brown County General Hospital in Georgetown, Ohio. He was a retired machinist for Stacy Manufacturing Company, where he worked for 17 years. Mr. Burton was born on May 22, 1946 in Fleming County, Kentucky, the son of the late William and Maggie (Beamon) Burton.  He was also prceded in death by three sisters - Gracie Middletown, Cordie McBride and Mary Vernatter; five brothers - Lonnie, Elmer, David, Charlie and Vernerd Burton and one grandson - Seth McKinnley Burton.

Mr.Burton is survived by his wife - Linda (Witt) Burton of Georgetown, Ohio; four children - James Burton and wife, Bonnie, of Cincinnati, Ohio; Tammy Williams and husband, Chris, of Hamersville, Ohio; Dawn Marie Burton, Daniel Burton and fiancee, Amanda Allen, all of Georgetown, Ohio; one sister - Martha Jane Burroughs of Winter Haven, Florida; his "buddies" - Sanford Lee Osborne and Dwayne Stewart; and a host of family and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Thursday, March 24, 2005, at the Cahall Funeral Home in Georgetown, Ohio with Brother Curtis Hoskins officiating. Visitation will be from 6:00 - 9:00 P.M. Wednesday. Interment will be in Confidence Cemetery in Georgetown, Ohio. If desired, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
