Eleanor F. Waits, age 83 of Georgetown, Ohio passed away Sunday, October 12, 2025 at the Hospice of Hope Inpatient Care Center at Kenton Pointe in Maysville, Kentucky. She was born August 15, 1942 in Brown County, Ohio the daughter of the late Charles Edward and Gladys Lillian (Watson) Williamson. Eleanor was a dedicated homemaker who found joy in baking and sewing. Her passion for these activities not only enriched her life but also brought warmth and happiness to those around her. Eleanor's loving contributions will be fondly remembered by her family and friends. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 41 years – Amos Waits, Sr. in 2000 whom she married January 31, 1959, one son – Ruben Waits, one son-in-law – Roger Parker, two granddaughters – Misty and Mindy Parker and one sister – Bertha Clark.

Mrs. Waits is survived by two daughters – Robin Parker and partner Mike Denniston of Georgetown, Ohio and Candessa Lou Sparksman and husband Frank of Oklahoma; two sons – Amos Waits, Jr. and Timothy Waits both of Mt.Orab, Ohio; two sisters – Charlotte Arbogast of Circleville, Ohio and Virginia Thompson of Mt. Gilead, Ohio and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, October 18, 2025 at the Buford Cemetery in Buford, Ohio. Visitation will be from 1:00 P.M. – 2:00 P.M. Saturday at the Cahall Funeral Home in Mt.Orab, Ohio.
