Elizabeth Mae Berry

Elizabeth Mae Berry, age 76 of Ripley, Ohio died Monday, August 10, 2009 at the Brown County General Hospital in Georgetown, Ohio. She was a homemaker and a member of the Ripley Church of the Nazarene in Ripley, Ohio. Elizabeth was born January 26, 1933 in Mason County, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Clarence and Maggie (Glasscock) West. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband - George Douglas Berry; two sons - Douglas Berry, Jr. and Jack Berry; one brother - Clarence "Buck" West and three sisters - Mary Frodge, Ida Haitz and Myrtle Pfeffer.
Mrs. Berry is survived by five children - Brenda Mitchell and husband Jim of Aberdeen, Ohio, Barbara Bradford, Mark Berry and Chris Berry all of Ripley, Ohio and George Berry of Aberdeen, Ohio; ten grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; two sisters - Frances Adams and Laura Cantrell both of Ripley, Ohio and one sister-in-law - Phyllis Myers of Ripley, Ohio.
Funeral services will be held Thursday August 13, 2009 at the Cahall Funeral Home in Ripley, Ohio. Rev. Clark Castle will officiate. Visitation will be from 10 A.M. - 12 P.M. Thursday at the funeral home. Interment will be in Maplewood Cemetery in Ripley, Ohio.
