Ellen Powell Kron

Ellen Powell Kron, age 58 of Georgetown, Ohio died Monday, July 20, 2026 at the Jewish Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio. She was born May 5, 1968 in Cincinnati, Ohio the daughter of the late Dr. John A. and Diane (Hayman) Powell. Ellen was a devoted homemaker who created a warm and welcoming home for her family. She had a wonderful love of animals and found great joy in caring for them. Her kindness and compassion extended to every creature, reflecting the gentle and caring person she was. Besides her parents, Ellen preceded in death by one brother – Perry Powell.

Mrs. Kron is survived by her husband of 33 years – David Kron whom she married September 8, 1992; one daughter – Mary Margaret Kron and husband Matthew Moore of Nashville, Tennessee; one son – Edward Kron and wife Samantha of Boise, Idaho; one grandson – Oliver Kron; two sisters – Jenny Powell of Georgetown, Ohio and Trena Panko and husband Jim of Goshen, Ohio and one brother – Patrick Powell of Cincinnati, Ohio; four dogs – Charlie, Wyatt, Izzy and Little Miss and four cats – Taluah, Georgia, Freddie and Cici which were all a large part of her life.

Following cremation, a memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held at a future date. The Cahall Funeral Home in Georgetown, Ohio is serving the family.
