Eloise Lucile Throckmorton

Mrs. Eloise Lucile Throckmorton, age 88, of Georgetown, Ohio died Tuesday, August 24, 2004 at the Brown County General Hospital in Georgetown, Ohio. Mrs. Throckmorton was the owner of Throckmorton Motel for 35 years and was a member of the Georgetown Presbyterian Church. She was born in Rudolph, Ohio on April 26, 1916 the daughter of the late James Monette and Cora (Hines) Diley. She was also preceded in death by her husband, James Throckmorton in 1982 and one brother, Foster Diley.

Mrs. Throckmorton is survived by one son - David Throckmorton of Cincinnati, Ohio; one daughter - Carol Throckmorton-Banner of Elk, North Carolina; 3 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; 3 brothers - James M. Diley of Delaware, Ohio, George Diley of Chicago, Illinois, Lewis Diley of Jenks, Oklahoma and one sister - Mary Lu Diley of Michigan City, Indiana.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 P.M. Saturday, August 28, 2004 at the Cahall Funeral Home in Georgetown, Ohio. Visitation will be from 12 - 1 P.M. Saturday. Interment will be in Confidence Cemetery in Georgetown, Ohio. If desired, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or the American Heart Association.
