Elvie Reeves

Elvie Reeves, age 95 of Mt. Orab, Ohio died Friday, July 7, 2017 at the Eastgate Springs Nursing Home in Cincinnati, Ohio. She was a professional musician. Elvie was born August 9, 1921 in Rockybranch, Kentucky the daughter of the late Luther and Myrtle (Pennington) Bowman. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband – John Reeves; one daughter – Geraldine Valentine; two sons – Lonnie Stanton and Mendle Davidson and one granddaughter – Marcella Cobb.
Mrs. Reeves is survived by two sons – Roy Stanton of Mt. Orab, Ohio and Rick Stanton and wife Robin of Williamsburg, Ohio; one daughter-in-law – Joyce Davidson of Tyner, Kentucky; eight grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 P.M. Tuesday, July 11, 2017 at the Cahall Funeral Home in Mt. Orab, Ohio. Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. – 12:00 P.M. Tuesday, July 11, 2017 at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Mt. Orab Cemetery in Mt. Orab, Ohio.
