Estelle H Rose

Estelle Humphrey Rose, age 88 of Ripley, Ohio, died Thursday, March 20, 2014 at her residence. She was a nurse, a founding member of the Ripley Life Squad Women’s Auxiliary, a member of the Ripley Museum and a former trustee of the Pisgah Ridge Cemetery Perpetual Care Association. Mrs. Rose was born February 23, 1926 in Herrin, Illinois the daughter of the late Mary Lou Stone Humphrey Darnell. She was also preceded in death by her husband - Thomas L. Rose; her stepfather - George Darnell one brother – William Humphrey; three sisters – Juanita Berrelli, Eddiebelle Jones and Mary Louise Noland.

Mrs. Rose is survived by one daughter – Patricia Lee Edwards (Daniel) of Batavia, Ohio; two sons – Michael Ray Rose (Sharon) of Cincinnati, Ohio and William Thomas Rose of Batavia, Ohio; four grandchildren – Jessica Wathan O’Neal (Christopher) of Batavia, Ohio, Christopher Daniel Edwards (Elizabeth) of Batavia, Ohio, Derrick Thomas Rose of Cincinnati, Ohio and Darrenn Michael Rose of Cincinnati, Ohio; one great grandchild – Brennen Edwards and one great grand dog – Enzo O’Neal.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Sunday, March 23, 2014 at Cahall Funeral Home in Ripley, Ohio. Rev. Gary Brose will officiate. Visitation will be from 12:00 to 2:00 P.M. on Sunday at the funeral home. Interment will follow the funeral service in Pisgah Ridge Cemetery near Ripley, Ohio.
