Eugene "Bus" Ring

Eugene D. “Bus” Ring, age 91 of Georgetown, Ohio died Monday, February 27, 2017 at the Ohio Valley Manor Convalescent and Rehabilitation Center in Ripley, Ohio. He was a farmer, a member and a Deacon of the Georgetown Baptist Church and was a member of the Farm Bureau. Mr. Ring was born June 1, 1925 in Mason County, Kentucky the son of the late Fred M. and Esta (Bean) Ring. He was also preceded in death by one sister – Garnet Rose and two brothers – Lucian and Henry Ring.

Mr. Ring is survived by his wife of sixty-four years – Imogene (Kubel) Ring, whom he married October 18, 1952; one daughter – Dianna Ring Reeder and husband JD of Morehead, Kentucky; one son – Chris Ring and wife Ginger of Georgetown, Ohio; five grandchildren – Miranda Burrey, Megan Lindsey, Joel Ring and wife Meghan, Jeremy Ring and Lauren Ring; two great grandchildren – Elsie Ring and Louis Burrey and nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, March 4, 2017 at the Georgetown Baptist Church, 794 S. Main Street, Georgetown, Ohio. Pastors Cliff Myers and Ron Garbutt will officiate. Visitation will be held from 6:00 P.M. – 8:00 P.M. Friday at the Cahall Funeral Home in Georgetown, Ohio. Interment will be in the Maysville Cemetery in Maysville, Kentucky.
