Evans J. Mosby

Evans J. Mosby, age 81 of Tyrone, Georgia, formerly of Ripley, Ohio, went to be with the Lord March 15, 2010 at Christian Ministries Hospice in Riverdale, Georgia. He was retired, from the city of Cincinnati, where he worked as an electronics technician. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Ripley, Ohio. Mr. Mosby was born July 18, 1928 in Cincinnati, Ohio, the son of the late Jedadiah and Florence (Jordan) Mosby. He was also preceded in death by three brothers - Lewis, Jedadiah, Jr. and Julius Mosby.

Mr. Mosby is survived by two brothers - Oliver Mosby and wife Lavern of Senoia, Georgia and Melvin Mosby and wife Margaret of Dayton, Ohio; one sister-in-law - Annie Pearl Mosby of Cincinnati, Ohio; four cousins - Dorothy Burton of Cleveland, Ohio; Betty Simmons of Cleveland, Ohio; Juanita Elliott of Las Vegas, Nevada and Richard Cannon of Louisiana; a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, March 20, 2010 at Cahall Funeral Home in Ripley, Ohio. Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. Saturday at the funeral home. Interment will be in Maplewood Cemetery in Ripley, Ohio.
