Evelyn Aileen Frith

Mrs. Evelyn Aileen Frith, age 85 of Ripley, Ohio, died Sunday, April 12, 2009 at Adams Co. Regional Medical Center in Seaman, Ohio. She was a retired nurse aide and a member of The First Southern Baptist Church in Ripley. Mrs. Frith was born on July 31, 1923 in Pittsburg, Georgia, the daughter of the late Jasper and Vesta (Hollingsworth) Oliver. She was also preceded in death by three sisters and two brothers.

Mrs. Frith is survived by her loving husband of sixty-six years, Charles Frith; three daughters - Jewel Hille of Ripley, Ohio; Dee Brunkel and her husband Joe of Dayton, Ohio and Mary Fulton of Oak Hill, Ohio; two sons - Jay Frith and wife Connie of Milford, Ohio and Joe Frith and wife Linda of Bridgetown, Ohio; thirteen grandchildren; twenty-one great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; two sisters - Annette Kidwell of Lexington, Kentucky and Sue Green of Florida; one brother, Wayne Oliver of Aurora, Indiana.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Thursday, April 16, 2009 at Cahall Funeral Home in Ripley, Ohio. Rev. Doug Brown will officiate. Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. on Thursday. Interment will be in Shinkle's Ridge Cemetery. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to: Hospice of Hope Ohio Valley.
